Rochester STEM Academy has enjoyed the comforts of home their last three games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will face off against the St. Charles Fighting Saints at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Last Saturday, Rochester STEM Academy took a serious blow against the Knights, falling 84-45.
Rochester STEM Academy's loss came about despite a quality game from Ilyas Abdi, who scored 14 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Rashid Jeylani, who scored nine points along with seven rebounds.
Meanwhile, St. Charles was beaten by the Cardinals 80-45 on Friday. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for St. Charles in their matchups with the Cardinals: they've now lost seven in a row.
Rochester STEM Academy's loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 2-16. As for St. Charles, they have not been sharp recently as the team's lost ten of their last 12 games, which put a noticeable dent in their 10-12 record this season.
