Basketball Recap: Riverside Picks Up Fourth Consecutive Win

Riverside came tearing into Saturday's game with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 14 points) and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against the Eastside Eagles by a score of 55-44. 55 seems to be a good number for the Warriors as the team scooped up a win with the same number of points in their previous game.

When it comes to explaining why Eastside lost, don't look at Carter Driscoll. Despite the final result, he posted 14 points. That's the most points Driscoll has posted since back in December of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Brandon Ray, who went 5 of 12 on his way to 11 points.

Riverside's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 17-7. As for Eastside, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-17 record this season.

Looking ahead, Riverside will venture away from home to challenge Gaffney at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Eastside, they will host Dorman at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Dorman will roll in looking for their eighth straight win, something Eastside surely won't give up without a fight.
