After having lost a blowout to Dyersburg in their previous game, Brighton was happy to find some success on Friday. Brighton were fully in charge, breezing past Bolton 57-6. That result is just more of the same for Brighton, who also won the last time these teams played.
Brighton's offense came in ready to rumble, picking up 36 points in the first half. Bolton came up with 6 to make it 36-6 heading into the break. The other side of the ball continued to do well for Brighton in the second half and held Bolton to 0 points. The win bumped Brighton's record up to 0-2. The loss dropped Bolton's record to 0-2.
Both teams will be heading out of the conference in their next games. Brighton will look to defend their home turf next week against Covington at 7:00 PM. As for Bolton, they will face off against Houston. Bolton continues their travels as they hit the road for the second straight contest.
