As a senior, Anthony averaged 18 points, 9.8 rebounds and 9.5 assists per game to earn third team MaxPreps All-American honors. He led the Warriors to the GEICO Nationals semifinals and a 31-5 record.
The elite guard also made his impact in postseason All-American games, winning MVP of the McDonald's All-American Game, Nike Hoop Summit and Jordan Brand Classic over the past month.
North Carolina won out over Georgetown, Notre Dame and Oregon for Anthony, regarded as the No. 4 overall prospect in the Class of 2019 according to
247Sports.
Cole Anthony's father, Greg, was the 12th overall selection in the first round of the 1991 NBA Draft and went on to play 12 seasons in the NBA.
Many predict the younger Anthony will surpass the production of his father at the next level. Time will tell as the versatile scoring guard with tons of potential enters the college ranks.
