Legacy Prep Christian Academy scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They claimed a resounding 82-16 win over Logos Prep Academy at home. Legacy Prep Christian Academy has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight games by 23 points or more this season.
Legacy Prep Christian Academy got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Hailey Carr out in front who scored 16 points along with seven steals and six assists. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Carr has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Molly Steed, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and ten steals.
Meanwhile, Cypress Christian's recent rough patch got a bit rougher back in December of 2023 after their third straight loss. They fell 45-36 to Fort Bend Christian Academy.
Legacy Prep Christian Academy has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 14-9 record this season. As for Cypress Christian, they bumped their record down to 4-4 with that loss, which was their third straight at home.
