One reason for the win was Ledford's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-17, 25-12.
Addison Kozel paced Ledford's offense, picking up six kills. Kozel got some help from Alexa Deras and her 14 assists. Kaylin Wall controlled things from the service line, finishing with six aces.
Ledford's victory bumped their record up to 7-1. As for The Burlington School, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-6.
Ledford wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-0 win against Leadership Academy on the 10th. As for The Burlington School, they have also already played their next game, a 3-0 defeat against Burlington Christian Academy on the 12th.
