The Wetumpka Indians will head out to  square off against the Eufaula Tigers  at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. Both  have allowed few  points on average, (Wetumpka: 17.2, Eufaula: 16) so any  points scored will be well earned.
 Wetumpka will roll into the  match after a wild two-game stretch: they only put up 12  points  last Friday, then bounced right back against Rehobeth  on Friday. Wetumpka enjoyed a cozy  34-19 victory over Rehobeth. The Indians' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most  points they've scored all season.
  Jimmy King was  his usual excellent self, rushing for 237 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 10.8 yards per carry. With that strong performance,  he is now averaging an impressive 111.2  rushing yards per game.
 Wetumpka's defense was in the mix too, especially the secondary: they snagged two passes before it was all said and done. The picks came courtesy of  Morion Dorsey and  Logan Gaare. Gaare is also on a roll when it comes to  total tackles, as he's  now  made seven or more in the last five games he's  played dating back to last season. Another thorn in Rehobeth's side was  Kelby Walker, who made 18 total tackles (2.0 for loss).
 Meanwhile,  everything came up roses for Eufaula at home  against Carroll on Friday as the  squad secured  a  41-7 win. That 34 point margin sets a new team best for the Tigers this season.
 The  victory snapped Wetumpka's losing streak at three games  and leaves them with a 2-3 record. As for Eufaula,  the  win made it two in a row for them and  bumps their season record up to 3-2.
 Wetumpka took their  victory against Eufaula  when the teams last played  back in September of 2017 by a conclusive  48-24. Will Wetumpka repeat their success,  or does  Eufaula have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
