Dixie entered their tilt with GREEN Upstate on Thursday with three consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with four. They never let the Owls get on the board and left with a 1-0 win. The score was all tied up 0-0 at the break, but Dixie were the better team in the second half.

Dixie pushed their record up to 14-8 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. As for GREEN Upstate, the defeat snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 10-4 record.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Dixie will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Strom Thurmond at 6:00 p.m. on the 29th. As for GREEN Upstate, they will venture away from home to challenge First Presbyterian Academy at Shannon Forest at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
