Clarendon Hall took care of business in their home opener (barely) on Thursday. They had just enough and edged out the Wilson Hall Barons 7-5. The win was nothing new for the Saints as they're now sitting on five straight dating back to last season.
The team relied heavily on Mandy Wells, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with one home run, three runs, and three RBI. What's more, she posted four hits, the most she's had since back in March of 2024. Maggie Harrington was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base.
Clarendon Hall will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Thomas Sumter Academy at 5:30 p.m. on April 7th. As for Wilson Hall, they will look to take advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they take on Hammond at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
