Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Christ Church Episcopal). They took down the Palmetto Mustangs 55-39 on Friday. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Cavaliers considering their 24-point performance the matchup before.
Among those leading the charge was Caroline Johnson, who posted 17 points and four steals. That's the most points she has posted since back in November of 2024. Katy Cox was another key player, putting up nine points.

The victory was their first on the road , bumping their record up to 3-17. As for Palmetto, they have been struggling recently as they've lost ten of their last 11 contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-15 record this season.
Looking ahead, Christ Church Episcopal will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against St. Joseph's Catholic at 6:00 p.m. St. Joseph's Catholic is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 52.8 points per game this season. As for Palmetto, they are taking a road trip to square off against Carolina Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Palmetto has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
