After having lost a blowout in their  previous game against Kenston, Mayfield was happy to have turned things around  on Thursday. They never let the Geneva Eagles onto the board and left with  a   4-0  victory. The Wildcats might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three contests by three  goals or more this season.
 They hit Geneva with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from 
 Alex Kress, 
 Devan Calabrese, and 
 Josiah Bihary.
 The  win  got Mayfield back to even at 4-4-2. As for Geneva, their loss dropped their record down to 5-4-2.
 Mayfield will be playing at home against Gilmour Academy  at 11:00  a.m.  on Saturday. Gilmour Academy is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.7  goals per game  this season. As for Geneva, they will face off against Perry at 5:00  p.m.  on Tuesday.
