Gabe Smith turned in yet another pitching appearance with fewer than three walks surrendered on Saturday. He struck out eight batters over 5.1 innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off three hits (and only one walk). That's the most strikeouts he has posted since back in March of 2024.
