After a string of four wins, the Landmark Christian War Eagles's good fortune finally ran out  on Tuesday. They were outmatched by Columbia on the road  and fell  63-18. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest  points Landmark Christian has scored all season.
 Several War Eagles players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was   Melody Painter, who  scored ten points along with four  steals. The team also got some help courtesy of  Nikolette Soden, who  scored five points along with two  steals.
 Columbia's win  was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from   Nia Anderson, who  scored 18 points.  Kendall Campbell was another key contributor,  scoring 16 points.
 Landmark Christian's loss  ended a six-game streak of away wins  and  brought them to 13-4. As for Columbia, they are  on a roll lately: they've  won 11 of their last 12 matchups,  which provided a nice bump to their 19-5 record this season.
 Landmark Christian will be playing at home against Elite Scholars Academy at 6:00  p.m.  on Friday. Elite Scholars Academy is coming into the  match with four straight  losses on the road,  meaning Landmark Christian will have to defend against a  team hungry for a  win. Columbia does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
