In what's become a running theme this season, the Evansville Memorial Tigers gave their fans yet another huge  victory on Tuesday. They took their  matchup at home  with ease, bagging a  59-22 victory over Mt. Vernon. The  win was nothing new for Evansville Memorial as they're now sitting on five straight.
 Evansville Memorial had a senior duo take command as  Avery Kelley  scored 17 points along with two  steals and  Sophie Johnson  scored 12 points along with three  steals. Another player making a difference was  Rylee Canaan, who  scored 11 points.
 Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Mt. Vernon  struggled to get the ball back on offense and  finished the game with only four  offensive rebounds. They  were crushed by their opponents in that department as Evansville Memorial  pulled down 12  offensive rebounds.
 Evansville Memorial pushed their record up to 17-3 with that  victory, which was their 18th straight  at home. They've been dominating during the  games in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 23.72 points. As for Mt. Vernon, they are  on a nine-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 2-18.
 Evansville Memorial will head out on the road to  face off against  Evansville North at 7:00  p.m.  on Thursday. Evansville North will have to bring their A-game into this one,  as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Indiana Rankings (they are ranked 90th, while Evansville Memorial is ranked 24th). As for Mt. Vernon, they will look to defend their home court  on Saturday against Forest Park at 1:30  p.m.
