While losing is never fun, the Sentinels can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage  in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings  (they are ranked 867th, while the Breakers are ranked 405th).
 Saddleback's victory  ended  a  12-game drought at home  dating back to last season and  bumped them up to 2-9. As for Magnolia, their loss dropped their record down to 3-5.
 Saddleback and Magnolia were neck-and-neck in their previous meeting  back in November of 2018, but Saddleback came up empty-handed after  a  39-38 defeat. Can Saddleback avenge their  loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
