Natomas has won four straight games at home, while Casa Roble has won four straight on the road, but those streaks won't matter much on Tuesday. The Natomas Nighthawks just played last yesterday, but they'll still welcome the Casa Roble Rams at 7:30 p.m. One thing working in Natomas' favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last ten matchups.
On Monday, Natomas beat Fremont 82-75.
Natomas' success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Alfred Wilkins led the charge by going 7 for 12 en route to 20 points and five steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Manno Jenkins, who went 5 of 11 on his way to 16 points along with seven assists and five rebounds.
Meanwhile, Casa Roble hadn't done well against El Camino recently (they were 1-7 in their previous eight matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. Casa Roble blew past El Camino, posting a 79-35 victory. The Rams have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine games by 27 points or more this season.
Natomas better keep an eye on Moses Oginni. He was instrumental in Casa Roble's win, dropping a double-double on 26 points and ten boards. Oginni's evening made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Jared Alexander, who posted six points and six steals.
Casa Roble smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 13 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least nine offensive boards in five consecutive contests.
Natomas has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 13-6 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 73.0 points per game. As for Casa Roble, their win bumped their record up to 17-3.
Natomas didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Casa Roble in their previous matchup back in April of 2021, but they still walked away with a 62-56 victory. One of the biggest obstacles trying to stand in the way of that victory was Casa Roble's Greg Zane Jr., who almost dropped a double-double on 31 points and nine rebounds. Now that he won't be playing on Tuesday, will it be easier for Natomas to walk away with another win? Check MaxPreps.com after the match to find out.
