The Crossland Cavaliers will face off against College Park Academy at TBD on Thursday. Crossland is no doubt hoping to put an end to a 13-game streak of away losses dating back to last season.
Last Thursday, Crossland was the victim of a rough 45-24 loss at the hands of Fairmont Heights. Crossland has not had much luck with Fairmont Heights recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
Meanwhile, College Park Academy's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Monday after their third straight loss. They had to suffer through a rough 54-26 loss at the hands of Chesapeake Math & IT Academy South.
Crossland has traveled a rocky road recently having lost eight of their last nine games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-13 record this season. As for College Park Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 2-10.
Crossland came up short against College Park Academy when the teams last played back in January, falling 47-41. Can Crossland avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
