New Waverly won the last time they faced Normangee and things went their way on Tuesday too. The New Waverly Bulldogs were the clear victor by a 9-3 margin over the Normangee Panthers.

New Waverly let Kadyn Fortune and Breckyn Slott loose on the outfield. Fortune scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-2, while Slott scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3. Slott also put up a stolen base, which washer first of the season. Kaelynn Stewart was another key player, going 1-for-3 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one double.

New Waverly always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .542. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Normangee only posted an OBP of .250.

New Waverly's victory bumped their record up to 2-3-1. As for Normangee, their loss dropped their record down to 4-4.

Looking ahead, New Waverly will square off against Leon at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Normangee, they will challenge Buffalo at 8:00 a.m. on Thursday.
