After having lost a blowout in their  previous game against Arrowhead, Oak Creek was happy to have turned things around  on Saturday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with  a  2-1  victory over the Waukesha West Wolverines. This was a revenge game for the Knights: when they faced off against the Wolverines  back in September, they had to take a  3-2  defeat.
 Isa Ruether paced Oak Creek's offense, picking up 13 kills. Ruether got some help from  Julia Schneider and her 22 assists. Ruether was also solid from the service line:  she led the team with seven aces.
Oak Creek is  on a roll lately: they've  won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-14 record  this season. As for Waukesha West,  the  loss snapped their winning streak at six matches  and leaves them with a 21-9 record.
