 George Bishop tossed a big game,   not allowing a single  earned run over 5.1 innings pitched. He has been consistent for a while: he hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in 13 consecutive appearances.
 On the hitting side,  Diego Delventhal was  excellent,  going 2-for-3 with two  stolen bases, two  runs,  and one  RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of  Jordan Vo, who  got on base  in all four of his plate appearances with one  run and one  RBI.
Piedmont's record is now 16-9. As for Archie Williams, they have  been struggling recently as they've  lost six of their last seven games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 12-13 record  this season.
 Piedmont will face off against Northgate at 5:00  p.m.  on Friday. The Broncos will roll in looking for their  eighth straight  win, something the Highlanders surely won't give up without a fight. Archie Williams does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
