The Fairley Bulldogs lost against the Harding Academy Lions two weeks ago, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Fairley ended up on the wrong side of a tough 66-43 walloping at the hands of Harding Academy. Fairley has not had much luck with Harding Academy recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
Harding Academy got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Brynne Miller out in front who scored 14 points. Miller has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last four times she's played. Another player making a difference was Erica McGary, who scored 14 points along with 5 rebounds.
Fairley's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Harding Academy, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record this season.
Fairley will head out on the road to face off against Brighton at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Harding Academy, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Tipton-Rosemark Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Tipton-Rosemark Academy comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 18 points in their last four games, a trend the team is of course eager to reverse.
