The Frogs put the hurt on the Cardinals with a sharp 20-9 win on Friday. The Frogs' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Guajome Park Academy let Angela Zenteno and Allison Leon run wild. Zenteno went a perfect 4-for-4 with six RBI and three runs, while Leon went a perfect 3-for-3 with two stolen bases, three runs, and three RBI. Those three hits gave Leon a new career-high. Karmen Simons was another key player, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with three runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.
Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Classical Academy, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Wednesday. They skirted past Madison 15-14. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Caimans have posted since May 14, 2024.
Sophie Subka was a standout: she went 3-for-4 with four RBI, two runs, and one stolen base. The team also got some help courtesy of Kalia Gonzalez, who went 2-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and one stolen base.
Classical Academy was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .419. They are a perfect 5-0 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.
The win was the third in a row for Guajome Park Academy, bringing their record up to 4-7. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.7 runs over those games. As for Classical Academy, they pushed their record up to 6-8 with the win, which was their third straight at home.
