Green Sea Floyds kept a clean sheet against St. John's last week. The Trojans steamrolled past St. John's 65 to nothing. The margin was wide but not a surprise since Green Sea Floyds is ranked far ahead of St. John's in the MaxPreps rankings.
Meanwhile, C.E. Murray earned some postseason bragging rights after a successful outing last Friday. They claimed a resounding 44-6 win over Scott's Branch. Carey Singletary had a dynamite game for the War Eagles; he rushed for 208 yards and two TDs on 14 carries. That nimble footwork stands out as the first time Singletary has hit the 100-yard rushing mark this season.
The Trojans simply couldn't be stopped when the two teams last met in last November, as they easily beat the War Eagles 64-26. The Trojans' victory shoved the War Eagles out of the playoffs, so expect the team to have a target on their back in this one.
