The Rich Rebels scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Saturday. They came out on top against Wendover by a score of 79-71. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
It was another big night for Jaden Desch, who scored 22 points along with nine rebounds and two steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Ridge Lundgren, who scored 20 points.
Several Wildcats players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Shawn Duboise, who dropped a double-double on 26 points and ten rebounds. Efren Delmuro was another key contributor, scoring 18 points.
Rich is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight games, which provided a massive bump to their 8-4 record this season. As for Wendover, their defeat ended a seven-game streak of away wins and brought them to 13-2.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Rich will take on Big Piney at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Wendover, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Tabiona at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
