The Wolcott College Prep Wolves lost to the Beacon Academy Trailblazers back in December of 2023, but the Wolcott College Prep Wolves didn't allow the Beacon Academy Trailblazers the same satisfaction on Wednesday. Wolcott College Prep snuck past Beacon Academy with a 27-21 victory.
Wolcott College Prep can attribute much of their success to Eliana Henschel, who scored 16 points along with six steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Henschel has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Genevieve Erlinger, who scored two points along with eight rebounds and three steals.
Wolcott College Prep's victory bumped their record up to 3-6. As for Beacon Academy, their loss was their 15th straight on the road dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 3-6.
Wolcott College Prep will be playing in front of their home fans against Christian Heritage Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Beacon Academy, they will head out on the road to face off against Cristo Rey St. Martin at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Cristo Rey St. Martin focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 23 back in December of 2023.
