Volleyball Recap: Northeast Snaps Ten-Game Streak of Losses on the Road

It was a classic North v. South duel when Northeast took on Southwest on Tuesday. The Raiders walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Patriots. That's more bragging rights for the Raiders, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

The win didn't come easy: Southwest scored at least 20 points in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-20.

Northeast's victory ended a ten-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-8. As for Southwest, they are on a nine-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-6.

Northeast wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Westside on the 4th. As for Southwest, they have also already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against Howard on the 3rd.
