 Meanwhile,  it was a proper cat-fight when Carroll County took on Walton-Verona on Wednesday. The Panthers put the hurt on the Bearcats with a sharp  15-2 win. Considering the Panthers have won seven matches by more than seven  runs this season, Wednesday's  blowout was nothing new.
 Carroll County's victory bumped their record up to 14-6. As for Shelby County, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-14.
