Virgin Valley can now show off 11 landslide victories after their most recent matchup on Friday. They breezed by Lincoln County on the road to the tune of 45-14. The matchup was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point Virgin Valley had established a 25 point advantage.
Virgin Valley's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Ava Noel, who scored five points along with seven steals. Another player making a difference was Natali Isidro, who scored three points along with six steals.
Meanwhile, this season hasn't been kind to Chaparral, who are still winless after their 11th matchup. They were outmatched by Canyon Springs on the road and fell 61-6. While losing is never fun, Chaparral can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Nevada basketball rankings (they are ranked 107th, while Canyon Springs is ranked 28th).
Virgin Valley's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 15-10. They've been dominating during the contests in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 34.33 points. As for Chaparral, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-11.
