After soaring to 66 points the game before, the Pensacola Catholic Crusaders were a bit more limited in their game on Thursday. They were dealt a 61-17 defeat at the hands of Milton. Pensacola Catholic has not had much luck with Milton recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.

Elijah Mcneely posted three points each.
Amarie D dicken held things down on the boards with seven rebounds. He took the lead distributing the ball, coming up with three assists.
Milton got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Treymar Jones out in front who scored 17 points. Jones is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 15 or more in the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Javier Valarezo, who scored ten points along with two steals.
Pensacola Catholic has been struggling recently, as they've lost seven of their last eight games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-14 record this season. As for Milton, they pushed their record up to 13-2 with that win, which was their fifth straight on the road.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Pensacola Catholic won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Pensacola Christian Academy at 7:30 p.m. on January 12th. Pensacola Christian Academy is coming into the matchup on a six-game losing streak. Milton won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Pace at 6:15 p.m. on January 12th. Pace will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Florida Rankings (they are ranked 584th, while Milton is ranked 113th).
