The Washington Pam Pack couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They fell 60-48 to Perquimans on Thursday.
Avery Thomas and Breanna Perry certainly did their best on Thursday to try and avoid the loss. Thomas scored 22 points along with 7 steals, while Perry scored 24 points.
Washington's defeat dropped their record down to 0-1. As for Perquimans, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0.
Washington will look to defend their home court on Friday against Pasquotank County at 6:00 p.m. Hopefully Pasquotank County focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 30 on Tuesday. Perquimans will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against Currituck County at 6:00 p.m. on December 1st. Hopefully Currituck County focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 23 on Tuesday.
