Several Patriots players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Isabella Arbitelle, who scored 15 points along with five steals. That was a full 53.6% of Amelia Academy's points, marking the 11th time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points. Macy Barnard was another key contributor, scoring 13 points along with six rebounds and three steals.
Amelia Academy's loss was their 14th straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-13. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 25.4 points per game. As for Southampton Academy, their win bumped their record up to 7-8.

The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked in Virginia (Southampton Academy is ranked 282nd, while Kenston Forest is ranked 283rd).
