The Sealy Tigers will challenge the La Marque Cougars at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Sealy's favor is that they have posted at least ten runs in their last seven contests.
La Marque's hitters are going to have their work cut out for them on Tuesday: Sealy hadn't allowed a single run the last six times they've hit the field. The Tigers' pitcher stepped up to hand Royal a 21-0 shutout on Friday. The result was nothing new for the Tigers, who have now won eight matches by nine runs or more so far this season.

Avery Grigar was a standout: she scored three runs and stole three bases while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances. She has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times she's played. Another player making a difference was Kara Kram13, who scored three runs while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances.
Sealy always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .778. That was just more of the same: they've now posted an OBP of .520 or higher in seven consecutive games.
Meanwhile, La Marque got the win against Fort Bend Willowridge on Friday by a conclusive 16-1.
Jaylyn Perry was incredible, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, two runs, and one triple. The team also got some help courtesy of Katherine Salazar, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI.
Sealy pushed their record up to 18-5 with the win, which was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.9 runs on average over those games. As for La Marque, their win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 7-16.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Tuesday as neither team is afraid to steal. Sealy has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 5.7 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like La Marque struggles in that department as they've been averaging 7.1 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
Everything went Sealy's way against La Marque in their previous meeting two weeks ago, as Sealy made off with a 16-0 victory. Will the Tigers repeat their success, or do the Cougars have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
