P.J. Sears and Griffin Fitzell provided fans with a highlight when they connected against Agawam. The connection was good for 60 yards, the longest such play in Suburban this season.
Adding to the longest winning streak in the league this week, the Brownies beat South Hadley 42-28. The win marks sixth in a row for the Agawam.
South Hadley's offense cannot be tamed this season and the Tigers feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Sears has thrown for 657 yards and 5 touchdowns this season, while Fitzell has 11 catches for 229 yards.
At the moment, the Brownies are in first, while Commerce/New Leadership/Springfield Renaissance is in fourth.
Agawam led the league in scoring this week after putting up 42 points on the Tigers.
