Leading Bessemer City to victory were Tionna Pettus and Kionna Pettus. Pettus dropped a double-double on 16 points and 13 rebounds, while Pettus dropped a double-double on 30 points and ten rebounds. The match was Pettus' tenth in a row with at least ten points. Imani Rhodes was another key contributor, scoring four points along with eight rebounds.
Bessemer City's victory bumped their record up to 3-7. As for Central Cabarrus, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-3.
