The Washougal Panthers will head out on the road to face off against the Hudson's Bay Eagles at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Washougal is hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses.
Even though Stevenson scored an imposing 56 points on Friday, Washougal still came out on top. Washougal walked away with a 65-56 victory over Stevenson.
Washougal can attribute much of their success to Alex Frost, who scored 20 points. Another player making a difference was Mather Minnis, who scored 12 points.
Meanwhile, Hudson's Bay had to suffer through a rough 81-50 loss at the hands of Hockinson. Hudson's Bay has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Washougal's win bumped their record up to 2-3. As for Hudson's Bay, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.
Washougal strolled past Hudson's Bay in their previous meeting back in January by a score of 82-64. Will Washougal repeat their success, or does Hudson's Bay have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
