After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Brownsburg, Liberty Christian was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Elwood Panthers 73-32. The Lions have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three matches by 41 points or more this season.
Several Panthers players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Jayden Mullins, who almost dropped a double-double on 11 points and nine rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Cam Gallegos, who posted 11 points.
Liberty Christian's win bumped their record up to 6-4. As for Elwood, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-7.
Liberty Christian and Frankton will face off at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday without much rest having both just played. As for Elwood, they will square off against GEO Next Generation at 6:30 p.m. on January 16th.
