This season hasn't been kind to the Northwood Panthers, who are still winless after their 20th contest. They had to suffer through a rough 74-10 loss at the hands of Honaker. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Northwood in their matchups with the Tigers: they've now lost seven in a row.
Alayna McNulty was her usual excellent self, scoring 20 points along with seven rebounds and six assists for Honaker. McNulty is trending in the right direction, as she's improved her point production for four games straight. The team also got some help courtesy of Tailor Nolley, who scored 14 points along with four steals.
Northwood dropped their record down to 0-20 with that loss, which was their 18th straight at home dating back to last season. As for Honaker, the win (which was their tenth in a row) raised their record to 15-3.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Northwood will take on the Rebels at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked in Virginia (Patrick Henry is ranked 394th, while the Panthers are ranked 415th). As for Honaker, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against the Warriors at 6:00 p.m.
