Wyoming East's game on Saturday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Monday. Everything went their way against the WestSide Renegades as they made off with a 13-3 victory. Considering the Warriors have won six games by more than five runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

The team relied heavily on Miken Smyth, who went 1-for-3 with five RBI, two runs, and one double. Those five RBI gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Zach Hunt, who went 1-for-2 with three runs.

Wyoming East has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-2 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.0 runs on average over those games. As for WestSide, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-5 record this season.

Wyoming East wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 10-2 loss against Logan on the 16th. As for WestSide, they have also already played their next contest, a 10-4 victory against Van on the 15th.
