The Craig County Rockets are taking a road trip to  square off against the Eastern Montgomery Mustangs  at 5:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. Craig County is looking for their season's first  win.

 Caleb Jones and  Coltin Conner made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound,  Jones   struck out ten batters over  six innings while giving up just two earned runs off   five  hits. Meanwhile,  Conner   tossed one inning while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits. Those  ten  strikeouts gave  Jones a new career-high. At the plate,  Jones  went 2-for-4 with three  runs and one  stolen base, while  Conner  went 3-for-4 with four  RBI, two  doubles,  and one  stolen base.
 In other batting news,  Austin Tate was  excellent,  getting on base  in three of his four plate appearances with one  stolen base and one  run. Another player making a difference was  Mason Phoenix, who  got on base  in three of his four plate appearances with two  runs and one  stolen base.
 Craig County's defeat dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Eastern Montgomery, their record now sits at 8-2-1.
