Basketball Recap: Pittsburg Wins Going Away Against Gorham

Pittsburg won the last time they faced Gorham and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Pittsburg Panthers were the clear victor by a 49-29 margin over the Gorham Huskies. The Panthers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight games by 20 points or more this season.

Pittsburg has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 10-6 record this season. As for Gorham, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six contests, which has put a noticeable dent in their 6-11 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Pittsburg will square off against Colebrook Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Pittsburg is facing Colebrook Academy at the right time seeing as Colebrook Academy is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Gorham, they will take on Lin-Wood at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Gorham will also cruise into their next game with the timing on their side: Lin-Wood will have lost five straight heading into Friday's match.
