North DeSoto found their leader in underclassman Luke Delafield, who threw for 278 yards and four touchdowns while completing 81% of his passes. Delafield is on a roll when it comes to passing touchdowns, as he's now passed for three or more in the last four games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Cole Cory, who picked up 92 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
Meanwhile, Opelousas has more to be thankful for after their contest against Lutcher on Friday. Opelousas strolled past Lutcher with points to spare, taking the game 26-10.
North DeSoto's win bumped their record up to 11-1. As for Opelousas, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine games, which provided a nice bump to their 10-3 record this season.
