After two games on the road, St. Joseph is heading back home. They will take on the Nipomo Titans at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Both teams come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
On Tuesday, St. Joseph kept a clean sheet against Cabrillo. Everything went their way against the Conquistadores as they made off with a 5-0 victory. Give St. Joseph's defense some credit: that's the team's fifth straight shutout.

Isaiah Torres.
Meanwhile, Nipomo entered their tilt with Orcutt Academy with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Nipomo came out on top against Orcutt Academy by a score of 2-0 on Friday. Give Nipomo's defense some credit: that's the team's third straight shutout.
St. Joseph's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 11-5-4. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 12 goals over those three matchups. As for Nipomo, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a massive bump to their 9-10-1 record this season.
St. Joseph took their win against Nipomo in their previous matchup back in January by a conclusive 5-0. Will St. Joseph repeat their success, or does Nipomo have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
