Rowan County came tearing into  Wednesday's  matchup with four straight wins  (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 3.8 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They never let the Menifee County Wildcats get on the board and left with  a   15-0  victory. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last six times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.
 Aaron Pennington made a splash while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound,   pitching one inning while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits. What's more,  he posted three  strikeouts, the most he's  had since back in May of 2024. He was also stellar in the batter's box,  going a perfect 3-for-3 with two  stolen bases, five  RBI,  and two  runs.
 In other pitching news,  Carson Madden looked comfortable as he  pitched two innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   one  hit. What's more,  he posted three  strikeouts, the most he's  had since back in April.
 Back at the plate,  Mason Havens was  excellent,  going 1-for-2 with one  home run and two  runs. That's the most  runs  he has posted since back in April.  Eli Miller was another key player,  going a perfect 1-for-1 with one  home run.
 Rowan County  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .696. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Menifee County only posted  an  OBP of  .200.
Rowan County's win was  their fourth straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 23-11. The  home  victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.5 runs on average over those games. As for Menifee County, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-23.
As of now, neither Rowan County nor the Wildcats have any future games scheduled.
