 Elmore County can finally bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game  in Saturday's  second game. They narrowly escaped with a  victory as the  squad sidled past Calera  2-1.
 Sylacauga now  has a losing record at 9-10. As for Elmore County, their win bumped their record up to 7-8.
 Sylacauga skirted past Elmore County  3-2 in their previous matchup  back in March. One of the biggest obstacles the team faced in that game was  Elmore County's  Lalah Culpepper, who   didn't allow a single  earned run and  only one  hit while striking out ten over six innings pitched.
