NELA Christian Homeschool proved they can win big last Tuesday (they won by three) and on Friday they proved they can win the close ones too. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 win over the Midstate Homeschool Storm. The Flame haven't had any issues with the Storm recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive victory against them.
The match was a true back-and-forth as no team won consecutive sets, but in the end it was NELA Christian Homeschool who won the one that mattered. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 15-25, 25-20, 18-25, 15-13.
Molly Kate Eley paced NELA Christian Homeschool's offense, picking up 12 kills. Eley got some help from Annaleigh Clark and her 12 assists. Caroline Niswanger controlled things from the service line, finishing with seven aces.
