For the second straight game, North Hunterdon will face off against Hillsborough. The Lions will be playing at home against the Raiders  at 4:00  p.m.  on Thursday.
North Hunterdon got their first taste of in-conference action  on Tuesday and they started things off strong. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with  a  9-7  win over Hillsborough. The game was the first time the Lions have beaten the Raiders on their field since May 6, 2021.
  Graham Berry was a standout: he scored two  runs while going 4-for-4. The team also got some help courtesy of  Alex Famolari, who  scored a  run and  stole a base while going 3-for-5.
 The  victory made it two in a row for North Hunterdon and  bumps their season record up to 3-6. They've had to fight for that success though, as they only beat their opponents by an average of 1.5 runs across that stretch. As for Hillsborough,  with the  loss, they broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 6-3.
