Andrew Jackson extended their postseason success on Wednesday against Hampton County. They managed a 59-54 win over the Hampton County Hurricanes. The Volunteers are really starting to get used to good results now that the team has won 18 straight.
Andrew Jackson got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Damias Seegars out in front who posted 17 points and four steals. Seegars' big performance that evening made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least 17 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Bryce Peterson, who had 15 points and eight assists.
Andrew Jackson pushed their record up to 20-5 with the win, which was their eighth straight on the road. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.5 points over those games. As for Hampton County, their defeat ended a 21-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 20-6.
Coming up, Andrew Jackson will challenge Atlantic Collegiate Academy on Tuesday.
