Calipatria Gets a Boost from Hawk in 60-20 Victory
Starting off the list is Calipatria's Dominic Hawk, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Hawk rushed for 166 yards and four touchdowns on only 13 carries, and also threw for 187 yards and two touchdowns on only nine passes. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his fifth straight game with at least 116 rushing yards dating back to last season.
Calipatria pushed their record up to 5-1 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road. It'll be a Battle of the Bugs Hornets faces off against Palo Verde Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

A Season-Best Performance from Juan Perez Leads Calipatria over Victory Christian Academy
Calipatria was led to victory by Juan Perez, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Perez picked up 130 receiving yards and a touchdown, and also rushed for 30 yards and a touchdown. He torched the secondary when he pulled down a catch that went for 80 yards.

Carranza Came Up Big in Vincent Memorial's 21-6 Win
Vincent Memorial picked up their fifth consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Patricio Carranza. Carranza was dynamite, throwing for 264 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 13.2 yards per attempt.
On the season, Carranza has thrown 11 touchdowns while averaging 165.8 passing yards per game.
