Volleyball Recap: Brownsboro Wins Going Away Against Kemp

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Van, Brownsboro was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Kemp Yellowjackets as they made off with a 3-0 win. The Bears have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Yellowjackets, too.

The match finished with set scores of 25-8, 25-17, 25-12.

Abbee Parker had an outrageously good game as she had eight digs and six aces. That's the most aces she has posted since back in August of 2024. Riley Smith also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assists of the season.

They weren't the only good servers: Brownsboro was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 22 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in five consecutive matchups.

Brownsboro is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 13-21 record this season. As for Kemp, they dropped their record down to 3-20 with the loss, which was their third straight at home.

Brownsboro didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 defeat against Lindale on the 3rd. As for Kemp, they have also already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against Canton on the 3rd.
