They came out on top against the Mantachie Mustangs by a score of  8-5. Winning may never get old, but the Wolverines sure are getting used to it with their fifth in a row.
 Larkin Conner was  excellent,  going 2-for-3 with three  runs and one  double. Another player making a difference was  Alyssa McCoy, who  went 2-for-3 with one  stolen base and one  RBI.
 East Webster  hit smart and  finished the game with only two  strikeouts. The team has now struck out at least three batters  in three consecutive  contests.
East Webster's victory bumped their record up to 19-11. As for Mantachie, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-11.
East Webster will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Mustangs: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled  at 12:00  p.m.  on Friday.
